Klanginstallation mit Fokus auf Audio-Aufnahmen von Bahnhöfen, Zugreisen, U-Bahn-Fahrten und Fährschiffen

Es entstand eine Serie von Klanginstallationen aus den Audio-Aufnahmen der Teilnehmer*innen.
Diese Klanginstallationen fokussieren sich jeweils auf eine der globalen Gemeinsamkeiten, die die Aufnahmeorte und -situationen aufweisen.
Auf diese Art werden - unabhängig von den 10 Routen - jene Teilnehmer*innen miteinander verknüpft, deren Aufnahmeorte und -situationen starke Parallelen aufweisen.
Alle Klanginstallationen dieser Serie basieren visuell / skulptural auf den gleichen weißen Lautsprecherobjekten (Viertelkugeln) - allerdings unterscheiden sie sich thematisch und somit akustisch / kompositorisch.
The artist was gradually realizing a series of sound installations based on the sound recordings of the participants. Each of them concentrates on another global peculiarity / similarity of the sound recordings.
In this way - independently from the 10 routes - participants are connected with other participants whose recording places and situations show strong parallels.
Every sound installation visually consists of the same quarter spheres (loudspeaker objects) - but the installations distuingish acoustically and compositionally.

Eine einzelne künstlerische Arbeit ist nicht in der Lage, das gesamte Projekt in seiner Komplexität zu repräsentieren, sondern kann sich jeweils nur mit einem von vielen Aspekten beschäftigen.
Neben der Serie von Klanginstallationen werden im Laufe der Zeit weitere künstlerische, dokumentarische und klangarchivarische Umsetzungen entstehen.
Das Projekt als auch die daraus entstehenden Arbeiten sind als work in progress zu begreifen.
One single artwork is not able to represent the whole project in its complexity. The artist can only try to handle it step by step focussing on single aspects.
Beside the sound installations of this series the artist will realize further artistic, documentary and archival transpositions over time.
Both the project and the resulting artworks have to be considered as work in progress.
