Stand der Routen (Stand: Dezember 2018)

Status of the routes (As of: December 2018)

Menschen unterschiedlichster Nationalitäten haben bisher am Projekt mitgewirkt und dafür gesorgt, dass die Audiorekorder Schritt für Schritt an ihre Ziele gelangen.

Über 30 Stunden Audio-Aufnahmen haben die Teilnehmer*innen bisher erstellt, u.a. in den Niederlanden, Frankreich, Italien, China, Brasilien, Australien, Indien, USA und Kanada.

1 Audiorekorder (Bornheim > Ladies Special Trains (Mumbai, Indien)) ist nach 5 Etappen (nach 14 Monaten) an seinem Ziel angekommen.

1 Audiorekorder (Schöppingen > Bozeman (Montana)) hat sein Ziel nach nur 3 Etappen (nach 21 Monaten) erreicht.

1 Audiorekorder (Siegen > Kenogami Urwald (Ontario, Kanada)) hat seine Destination nach 5 Etappen (nach 17 Monaten) beinahe erreicht (nur 500 km fehlten bis zum Ziel).

1 Route (Dortmund > Forschungsschiff Polarstern) wurde von der Startperson abgebrochen, nachdem sie niemanden fand, der den Rekorder übernehmen wollte.

1 Route (Bad Ems > Curitiba (Brasilien) wurde nach 3 Jahren - kurz vor Erreichen des Zieles - abgebrochen, da der letzte Teilnehmer der Route den Rekorder nicht mehr weitergeben konnte.

1 Audiorekorder (Ziel „Phoenix Ost in Zhangjiagang (China)“) ist verschollen. Die letzte Person in China, die den Rekorder hatte, ist nicht mehr erreichbar.

4 Audiorekorder sind noch unterwegs.

People of different nationalities and cultural background have participated in this project until today and made it possible that the sound recorders have moved towards their destinations.

Until today the artist received nearly 30 hours of sound recordings (e.g. from the Netherlands, France, Italy, China, India, Brazil, Australia, the United States and Canada) from the participants.

1 sound recorder (Bornheim > Ladies Special Trains (Mumbai, India)) has reached its destination after only 5 stages (after 14 months).

1 sound recorder (Schöppingen > Bozeman (Montana, United States)) has reached its destination after only 5 stages (after 14 months).

1 sound recorder (Siegen > Kenogami primeval forest in Ontario, Canada) has nearly reached its destination after only 5 stages (after 17 months). There were only 500 kilometres missing to the destination.

1 route (Dortmund > research vessel Polarstern) failed because the startup person gave up finding someone to continue.

1 route (Bad Ems > Curitiba (Brasilien) failed shortly before the destination because the last person in the chain didn‘t want to continue.

1 sound recorder (with destination „Phoenix Ost in Zhangjiagang (China)“) is lost. The last person in China who had the recorder is not reachable any more.

4 audio recorders are still on their way.

Die Teilnehmer*innen senden ihre Audiodateien meist online per Filetransfer, aber sehr oft kommen die Speicherkarten aus den Rekordern auf dem Postweg.

Most participants send their sound recordings (audio files) online via file transfer, but very often the artist receives letter post containing the memory cards.
