Aus weißen Viertelkugeln mit integrierten Lautsprechern ist eine elektroakustische 8-Kanal-Komposition zu hören.
Diese basiert auf jenen Audio-Aufnahmen, bei denen die small world wide - Teilnehmer*innen soziale und gemeinschaftliche Situationen und Erlebnisse akustisch aufgezeichnet haben.
Beispielsweise:

- ein Restaurantbesuch in China
- ein Gottesdienst in Italien
- ein privates Abendessen in Italien
- ein Schützenfest in Deutschland
- ein Künstlergespräch in Deutschland
- ein Karaoke-Abend in den USA
- ein Frühstück in den USA
- ein Konzertbesuch in Frankreich
- eine Party in Kanada
- eine Fahrt in einem für Frauen reservierten Zug in Indien
Visuell greifen die Lautsprecherobjekte den globalen Aspekt des Projektes auf: in ihrer Form als Teile der Erdkugel und in ihrer Anordnung als gekrümmte geodätische Linie.
Out of white quarter spheres with built-in loudspeakers you can hear an electroacoustic 8 channel composition.
The composition is based on the sound recordings the participants of small world wide made of social interaction and group activities.
For example:
- a reading in Brazil
- an evening in a restaurant in China
- a worship in Italy
- a private dinner in Italy
- a shooting match in Germany
- an artist talk in Germany
- a karaoke night in the United States
- a breakfast in the United States
- a concert in France
- a party in Canada
- a ride in a train reserved for women in India
Visually the loudspeaker objects point to the global aspect of the project: their shape reminds of parts of the globe and their spatial arrangement picks up a curved geodetic line.
